September Favorites & BB Creams ♥

It's time for another monthly favorties!  I can't believe it's already October... time is going by sooooo fast !  In the month of September, I tried out a lot of low-end products (drugstore & NYX).  There are still some products that I haven't used yet, but I will do a review on them as soon as I do!  When I first started wearing makeup (9-10 years ago), I started off my purchasing a drugstore eyeshadow palette (either from Covergirl or Maybelline).  I remember I was so disappointed because the eyeshadows were not pigmented at ALL.  When I applied the shadows on my lids, the colors didn't show up.  That was my first and last time that I ever purchased a low-end drugstore eye makeup.  Recently while I was browsing through Youtube beauty garu's videos, I noticed that a lot of them were using the Wet'N Wild palettes.  I decided to try it out ONCE MORE because the palette was $2.99 anyways ^_^...

Wet'N Wild I'm Getting Sunburned #334

PRO: Pigmented, pretty colors, shimmery, affordable

CON: If you accidently hit it against something, the eyeshadows start breaking apart (like in the picture above, the dark brown shadow is everywhere...) If you decide to purchase it, I recommend you to just leave it at home and use it instead of carrying it around with you in your purse.. it might get alittle messy!)

Laneige Snow Radiant Blusher #01 Snow Prism

This product is great to use for a highlighter.  I use my fingers and swatch it a couple of times and then apply it above my cheekbones.  You can use it for your nose highlighter too!  If I use a makeup brush to apply it, it's kind of sheer and not very noticable =)

BB CREAMS

It's been awhile since I've used BB creams.  Three years ago, I tried an IPKN BB cream because my friend recommended it to me.  I forgot that she doesn't have acne prone skin and have dry to combination skin.... totally opposite from me!  As soon as I started using it, my face broke out and my pores were getting worse.  It felt like the bb cream was caking off my face after a few hours of applying it.  Last month my friends showed me the bb creams that they are currently using.  They have acne prone and oily skin like me too.  They told me that the coverage is GREAT and it did not break them out. SOOOOO...I recently tried those two BB's and I absolutely LOVEEEEEE them!  One is from Dr. Jart and the other one is from The Face Shop.  They are both made for those who have blemishes, acne problems, and oily skin.

  3. I've just discovered your blog and think you're so pretty! I love your typical Korean features. Really cute and delicate! :) What MAC shade are you because you seem really light? I checked out the Ladybug lipstick that you raved about and it looked really red and rich on me but I dunno if that's because my complexion is darker? I love the way you do your make-up! :) And I've been copying some of your hair tutorials. :D
